Evaluating Lean Facility Layout Designs Using a BWM-Based Fuzzy ELECTRE I Method

Selecting a suitable design for lean facility layout has become critical issue manufacturing company aiming to remove waste or non-value-added activities and implement the optimal arrangement. Many quantitative qualitative criteria with different weights need be considered in evaluating designs. To address issue, Best-Worst method (BWM) based on fuzzy ELECTRE I is introduced determine design, which BWM utilized generating weights, an extension of identify most alternative. The signed distance employed defuzzify numbers obtain discordance matrix values. Based subtraction values from concordance values, modified evaluate alternative designs that can avoid missing information. A numerical example evaluation provided show potential suggested models. Comparative studies are investigated illustrate superiority method.
